Amos Isah, the charismatic founder of Prophetic Victory Voice of Fire Ministry in Gwagwalada, Abuja, is now in police custody at the Federal Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) following allegations of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl.
The arrest, which occurred last week, has left the local community reeling, as Isah was widely admired for his fiery sermons and claims of divine authority.
Located behind Noble Noel Academy, opposite Gwagwalada Market, Isah’s church has long served as a spiritual hub for many residents.
However, the pastor’s absence from the pulpit during a service on June 19, 2025, just a day after leading worship on June 18, raised eyebrows among his congregation.
A glance at Isah’s Facebook page reveals a steady stream of posts promoting holiness and moral integrity. His bio boldly states, “purposes of this page is (sic) to touch lives as the Holy spirit leads because God has given me power.”
On June 15, celebrating Father’s Day, he wrote, “Dear God, thank you for the gift of fatherhood. We pray for all fathers and those hoping to become fathers. May You give them the strength to be a vessel of Your love. HAPPY FATHER’S DAY.”
Earlier, on June 11, he shared, “The wicked flee when no one is pursuing, but the righteous are bold as a lion” (Proverbs 28:1, NASB). We need the Holy Spirit’s help any time we stand up for Jesus; it is His strength that we must lean on. We need His boldness and courage to be light in a dark world if we are to be a mouthpiece for Him.”
Despite his public persona, FCID sources allege that Isah misused his spiritual influence to exploit a minor, leading to his detention.
The shocking accusations have cast a shadow over his ministry, leaving followers grappling with the stark contrast between his preached values and the grave allegations he now faces.
