Nigerian singer, Tobechukwu Victor Okoh aka Peruzzi has admitted that sometimes, he sounds like legendary colleague, 2Face Idibia, aka 2Baba.
This is as his vocals have drawn comparison with the ‘African Queen’ crooner’s among some music fans.
Addressing the comparison in a recent episode of the Afrobeats Intelligence podcast hosted by Joey Akan, Peruzzi revealed that he learnt how to sound like 2Face while he was with the veteran singer.
How do people say I sound like 2Baba sometimes? I learnt it while I was with him,” he stated.
Peruzzi and 2Face collaborated on the hit single, ‘Amaka’ in 2020. The effortless vocal chemistry made the song an instant hit.
