A man identified simply as Ability has tragically died in a motorcycle accident, just hours after surviving a terrifying kidnap attempt at his home in Delta State.
The shocking twist of fate was shared by human rights activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, who took to Instagram on Tuesday to recount the incident.
According to him, Ability narrowly escaped being kidnapped by armed men thanks to the swift action of his gateman.
But less than 24 hours later, he lost his life in a crash while on his way to visit his wife.
In a heartbreaking video posted alongside the tribute, Ability’s lifeless body was seen lying in a casket.
Gwamnishu wrote: “Mr Ability that escaped kidnapping yesterday died this evening by motorcycle accident.
“This morning we were in his house, Ability gave me Four Cousin and appreciated me for the work I do. This evening, he told them to carry him with motorcycle to visit his wife and had an accident that took his life.
“Which kind life be this? See strong Ability for inside casket. This is the worst news.
“A man that surved more that 17 bullets from Armed Kidnappers yesterday, slept, woke up and this evening he’s been lowered.”
The tragic loss has sparked a wave of sympathy and sorrow on social media, as many struggle to comprehend how quickly life can take a devastating turn.
