Victor Osimhen has officially completed a €75 million permanent transfer from Napoli to Galatasaray, turning down substantial offers—particularly from Saudi Arabian club Al‑Hilal—in the process.
Galatasaray signed Osimhen on a four-year contract following his standout loan spell during the 2024‑25 season, where he netted 37 goals in 41 appearances and helped the club secure both the Süper Lig and Turkish Cup.
The fee is €75 million, paid in stages: €40 million upfront, and €35 million in installments through to 2026. Additionally, €5 million in performance‑based bonuses are included, along with a 10% sell‑on clause for Napoli.
A unique contractual clause prevents Galatasaray from selling Osimhen to an Italian club for at least two years. In some versions, violating this would trigger a penalty payment equivalent to the initial €75 million fee.
The forward clearly chosen loyalty to Galatasaray over mega offers from Al‑Hilal (reportedly around €160 million) and interest from Premier League clubs like Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool, and Arsenal.
He told fans: “No money can buy my love for Galatasaray”, emphasizing emotional bonds formed during his loan stint in Istanbul.
