Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has declared that former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi will not clinch the presidential ticket of the Labour Party (LP), African Democratic Congress (ADC), or the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the next election cycle.
Obi, who ran as the LP’s presidential candidate in the 2023 election, garnered 6,101,533 votes to place second behind Tinubu’s 8,794,726, according to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Todayon Wednesday, Bwala predicted that Obi would not only fail to secure the nomination of any of the three parties but might also miss out on being selected as a running mate.
