The Angolan Football Federation has officially announced the immediate departure of Pedro Gonçalves as head coach of the Palancas Negras, signaling the end of his tenure with the national team.
Gonçalves, who took charge of Angola in 2019, leaves his post just months ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations 2025. During his time at the helm, he led the Palancas Negras to several milestones, including AFCON group stage qualification and a COSAFA Cup victory.
