The son of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” stars Kirk and Rasheeda Frost has been cleared by police in the fatal shooting of rapper T-Hood, with authorities concluding that the incident was an act of self-defense.
Ky Frost, 24, shot and killed Tevin Hood (known as T-Hood) during an altercation at a residence in Gwinnett County, Georgia in August. Following a thorough investigation, Gwinnett County police determined that T-Hood was the aggressor in the confrontation, initiating the dispute and drawing a firearm first. Ky Frost responded by brandishing his own weapon and fatally shooting T-Hood.
Police statements indicate that T-Hood had previously been involved in domestic violence incidents with Ky’s sister, and the fatal night’s confrontation stemmed from ongoing tensions. Both Frost and a witness remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
While police have closed their investigation and do not recommend charges, the District Attorney will make the final decision on whether any further legal action will be taken. The Frost family has not yet commented publicly on the development.
