Controversial social media personality Ayomiposi Oluwadahunsi, better known as Mandy Kiss, has once again stirred public attention after appearing in a viral video where she tearfully pleaded with Nigerians to save her from what she described as an attempt to forcibly take her to a psychiatric hospital.

In the emotional clip, which has circulated widely on X and Instagram, Mandy Kiss could be seen crying and appealing for public intervention, insisting she was of sound mind and not mentally unstable.

“Please Nigerians, have mercy on me. I am not mad. I’m only trying to survive. They want to take me to a psychiatric hospital under false pretence. I am not mentally ill. Everything I do online is content creation — I just want to trend,”

Her outcry comes just weeks after she sparked outrage by declaring her intention to set a Guinness World Record for sleeping with 100 men in one day — a statement she later retracted, clarifying that it was merely a publicity stunt to boost her social media engagement.

Despite her string of controversies, Mandy Kiss recently made headlines again when she was appointed an ambassador for the Lagos State Kicks Against Drug Abuse (LASKADA) campaign — a move that triggered a wave of mixed reactions among Nigerians.

While some applauded the government for giving her a chance to reform and influence others positively, critics questioned the rationale behind choosing someone with a controversial public image for such a sensitive campaign.

As of press time, Mandy Kiss had not disclosed who allegedly planned to have her taken to the psychiatric facility, but the viral video continues to spark debate across social media platforms, with many Nigerians expressing both concern and skepticism over her claims.
