Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has confirmed that defender Marc Guehi will not renew his contract with the club, signaling his intention to depart when his current deal expires in 2026.

Crystal Palace are bracing for the departure of England international Marc Guehi after manager Oliver Glasner publicly admitted the defender will not extend his stay at Selhurst Park. Speaking during a pre-match press conference, Glasner said Guehi had communicated his decision to the club, expressing a desire to seek a new challenge after five years with the Eagles.

Guehi, who joined Palace from Chelsea in 2021, has been a consistent performer and a key figure in the club’s defensive setup. His performances have earned him international recognition with England and have drawn interest from several top Premier League clubs as well as European sides.

“Marc has been very professional with us,” Glasner stated. “He’s made his decision clear, and we respect that. He remains an important part of the team for the rest of his contract.”
Palace are expected to consider potential replacements ahead of the 2026 summer transfer window, as clubs monitor Guehi’s situation closely.
