Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has called for patience as the club’s new signings continue to settle into the team, admitting the Reds’ start to the season has not been ideal.
Salah acknowledged that while the squad has been strengthened with quality additions, the process of building understanding on the pitch takes time.
According to Fabrizio Romano’s post on Sunday, Salah was quoted as saying, ““I am not happy with this start of the season. It’s a tricky season for us because we have a few new players. They are very good signings, but they need time to adapt to the team.
We just need time to adapt and know each other’s games, and everything will be fine.”
Liverpool have endured a mixed opening to their Premier League campaign, showing flashes of their attacking brilliance but struggling for consistency as manager Arne Slot integrates the new arrivals.
Reports has it that Liverpool ended its four-game losing streak in the Premier League as Salah scored his 250th goal for the club in a 2-0 win over Aston Villa on Saturday.
