Political firebrand Reno Omokri has gone for the jugular of Labour Party’s Peter Obi, accusing him of hiding in silence while the nation trembles over reports of a looming U.S. military invasion.
In a post, Omokri didn’t mince words as he blasted Obi for what he called a “suspicious quiet” at a time when Nigerians need voices of courage.
“Nigerians must never forget Peter Obi’s loud silence in this crisis. Good leaders don’t hide when thunder strikes,” he fumed.
The outspoken former presidential aide said Obi’s refusal to speak up suggests something deeper; complicity or cowardice.
“His quiet means collusion and approval. A man who talks about everything now stays silent. Very suspicious!” Omokri fired.
He reminded Nigerians that Obi once had a comment for every national issue but has suddenly vanished when the storm hit.
“Peter Obi used to speak daily on every problem. Now, in hard times, he is gone,” Omokri declared.
Concluding his attack, Omokri warned that true leaders never go missing when their nation is under threat.
“Real leaders stand up. Nigerians must remember this silence,” he said, in what many interpret as a political dagger aimed squarely at Obi’s 2027 ambitions.
