Edo State APC Chairman, Jaret Tenebe, has set the political scene on a dramatic fire after openly declaring that the party in the state will follow Governor Monday Okpebholo “without question.”
In a viral video from the Edo State City Boy Employment 2025 event, Tenebe pledged blind loyalty to the governor and vowed to deliver millions of votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.
“That our loyalty to our governor is of no break, no gear, no sense,” Tenebe proclaimed to a cheering crowd.
He went further to explain the shocking statement: “Anything the governor tells us to do, we cannot argue, because he has all the special advisers and all the special assistance.”
Drawing a vivid comparison, Tenebe described the party’s obedience using a deadly metaphor.
“If you have ever seen a vehicle or truck with no gear and descending; you know how deadly such a vehicle is. That’s what we are as a party in this state. Because we have no sense,” he said.
Tenebe ended by boasting of Okpebholo’s directive to secure a landslide for the president.
“The governor has already told us that 3.5 million votes for President Bola Tinubu must be guaranteed and is already settled,” he said.
