Rockstar Games has announced another delay for its highly anticipated title, Grand Theft Auto VI, which is now slated for release on November 19, 2026.

The developers confirmed that the decision to postpone the launch was made to ensure the game meets technical and creative expectations. Originally planned for release in 2025, GTA VI has faced multiple scheduling shifts as Rockstar aims to deliver what it describes as the most expansive and immersive entry in the franchise’s history.

In a statement, the company emphasized its commitment to maintaining quality and player experience, citing the need for additional development time to refine gameplay systems and optimize performance across platforms.
Industry analysts note that while the delay may frustrate fans, it reflects a broader trend among major studios prioritizing polish and stability over rushed releases. Preorders and promotional campaigns are expected to continue through 2026, with further updates anticipated early next year.
