A dramatic viral TikTok clip has thrown social media abuzz after a self-styled cleric, Pastor Oloruntimilehin Daramola, told his followers to “get fortified” or risk being wiped out by armed attackers.

The preacher, dressed in a purple robe and cap with a cross dangling from his neck, appeared on a TikTok account bearing his name, @kingbosoro.

In the video, the man who describes himself as Founder of The Omnipotence Mission of God pushes an extreme message of self-defence, even urging the Federal Government to allow widespread gun ownership.

But it was his shocking directive to his members that has left Nigerians stunned.

“You members, go and do something that can protect you, so that if they come with guns to your surroundings, they will face each other and shoot each other,” he declared.

“Or you should get bees to chase them, or if they are coming to your church, they should be dead before getting there… Let me tell you, all my members must do it… because I don’t want any of my members to die.”

The pastor insisted he would expel any member who refused his controversial “fortification”.

“Any of my members that I asked to use the charms and he doesn’t use it, I will chase him away… Go and be fortified!!!” he warned.

He claimed he could not remain protected while his congregation stayed vulnerable.

“I am a good shepherd. I cannot be looking while my members are being killed.”

In a twist that has generated even more outrage, the cleric suggested that victims of past church massacres died despite invoking Jesus.

“When they got to Owo, that church, some people shouted the name of Jesus… but Jesus said, ‘Until you get to heaven.’… In Kaduna… they were still killed. Why? Jesus said, ‘We will meet in heaven.’”

He further claimed to have branches “in America, London, and even in Nigeria” and invited followers to meet him privately for “the right steps to take”.

He brushed off critics, saying: “If they like, refer to me as that pastor who is talking about charms… I don’t have any powers, but if you put me on the ground, I will bite you.”

The video has exploded across social media, with Nigerians questioning the pastor’s teachings, identity, and the desperation driven by rising insecurity.

His comments come as deadly attacks continue to batter communities nationwide — from the 2022 Owo church massacre to a November 2025 assault on a CAC church in Eruku, Kwara, and the recent abduction of more than 300 children from St. Mary’s Catholic School in Niger State.

With fear rising and trust in security forces declining, the pastor’s message has ignited a fierce national debate: **protection or paranoia?**
