The Abia Youth Front (AYF) has given its full backing to Sir Mascot Uzor-Kalu,  praising his visionary leadership and laudable development blueprint as a model for real progress in Abia State.

At a high-energy youth leadership forum in Aba, speakers promoted Kalu as a leader whose character, clarity of purpose, and genuine passion for change continue to inspire young people across the state.

“Mascot Uzor-Kalu represents character personified. His ideas are clear, his priorities are right, and his heart is with the people. We believe his blueprint has the capacity to create real development and opportunities for young people in Abia,” said Chisom Nwankwo, coordinator of the Youth Front.

The youth-led organisation highlighted Kalu’s consistent track record of integrity, compassion, and commitment to public service.

According to the youth group, his approach is a combination of business acumen, administrative experience, and people-centered vision, making his ideas a practical roadmap for economic transformation.

Kalu’s blueprint focuses on restoring transparency in governance, strengthening institutions, reviving key economic sectors, and ensuring that government projects directly benefit grassroots communities.

At the heart of the plan is a clear strategy for rebuilding Abia’s economy: transparent governance, improved revenue management, revitalized agriculture, small enterprise development, and digital innovation.

He champions a leadership culture deeply rooted in merit, modern administration, and policies that tackle youth unemployment, poor infrastructure, and weak service delivery.

The AYF described these initiatives as the forward-looking governance Abia urgently needs.

They noted that youth empowerment, job creation, local government autonomy, and infrastructure renewal remain central to Kalu’s vision.

The group urged political actors, community leaders, and the private sector to embrace Mascot’s blueprint, calling it the most inclusive and transformative plan for Abia’s future.

“The state needs leaders who understand the people’s struggles and are ready to deliver genuine development with sincerity,” they noted.
