Drama played out in a Lagos home when a pregnant woman broke down in tears after her husband refused to fetch a plate of Jollof rice from their neighbour.
The craving began when the expectant mother caught the irresistible aroma of Jollof rice being cooked next door. Despite her pleas, her husband insisted they eat the soup he had already prepared.
“I don’t want to go myself because I don’t want my neighbours to know that I’m the one who wants to eat it,” she said.
Refusing to budge, the man watched as his wife became emotional, sitting down and sulking, tears streaming down her face.
