Vice President J.D. Vance spent the day training alongside elite Navy SEALs at the Naval Amphibious Base in Coronado, California, in a show of support for America’s special operations forces.

According to a statement from the Vice President’s office, Vance participated in a series of physical and tactical exercises designed to highlight the demanding nature of SEAL training and the dedication required to serve in one of the nation’s most elite military units.

Vance met with instructors and active-duty SEALs, discussing their missions, readiness, and the challenges of modern special operations. The visit was part of a broader defense engagement tour aimed at reinforcing the administration’s commitment to supporting U.S. military personnel and ensuring they have the tools and training necessary to protect national security.

Pentagon officials praised the visit as a gesture of solidarity with the armed forces. “The Vice President’s participation demonstrates deep respect for the service and sacrifice of those who operate on the front lines,” said a Navy spokesperson.
