Phrank Shaibu, Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has warned the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, over his continued criticism of members of the African Democratic Congress, ADC.

Keyamo has been criticizing Atiku and Peter Obi after the latter’s defection to the ADC.

Shaibu said Keyamo should not expect to be pampered after throwing mud at Atiku, Obi, and the ADC.

Keyamo had warned ADC’s spokesman, Bolaji Abdullahi that the All Progressives Congress, APC, is watching the coalition party, stressing that there is no breathing space for them.

Responding, Shaibu said Kayamo’s comments are not worthy of a minister.

Posting on X, Shaibu wrote: “@fkeyamo, there is a language fit for a minister—and there is the language of street quarrels. Unfortunately, you keep choosing the latter.

“@BolajiADC only forced you, briefly, to speak like someone who holds office. Even then, you couldn’t help yourself—you still closed with insults. That’s your comfort zone.

Let me be clear: you don’t throw mud at @atiku or @PeterObi and expect me to fry eggs for you or give soft smiles in return. That era is gone. When you come with gutter talk, don’t expect table manners back.

You provoke, you insult, you personalise everything—then act shocked when you’re answered in the same tone. That won’t fly. If you bring street energy, you’ll meet street resistance.

“Office demands discipline. If you can’t rise to it, don’t cry foul when people speak to you in the language you understand.

Respect is reciprocal. And we are not obligated to pamper your recklessness.”
