Global attention turned sharply to Washington after President Donald Trump stunned the world with a dramatic claim that the United States has captured Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro following a large-scale missile assault on Venezuela.
In a startling announcement that instantly went viral, Trump said the operation led to the arrest of Maduro and his wife, who were allegedly flown out of the country in what he described as a decisive US action against the Venezuelan leader.
