Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr. Paul Enenche, has come out swinging against claims that he lives off church funds, bluntly dismissing such allegations as ignorant and unfounded.

Addressing the issue during a fiery sermon, Enenche declared that neither he nor his family has ever had access to the church’s checkbook since the ministry began, insisting that church resources have never financed his personal lifestyle.

“Some people will see a suit or a watch and say, ‘church money.’ That is mumushiness of sense.

“From day one till now, church checkbook is not in our possession,” he said.

The outspoken cleric also tackled assumptions surrounding proceeds from church materials, stressing that income from books and CDs sold in church has never been used for his personal needs.

“Not one naira of it has been used to buy a tie or socks, how much more church offering?” he stated.

Enenche maintained that God directly supplies his needs and said he has deliberately detached himself from material possessions.

According to him, many gifts given to him over the years, including shoes, have remained unused, while several others were freely given out to people.

“I gave about 200-and-something suits out in one day. Go, it’s enough,” he said.

He wrapped up with a sharp message to believers, urging them to abandon material obsession and refocus on spiritual priorities.

“Let’s stop living for things and start living for God and the kingdom. When you do, the things people are chasing will start chasing you,” he said.
