United States President, Donald Trump, has declared that Russia and China fear and respect America because of the strength of his administration, insisting the country’s power on the global stage is driven by military might and firm leadership.
In a post on Truth Social on Wednesday, Trump said rival nations would not take NATO seriously without the United States, arguing that the alliance lacks real deterrence without American force behind it.
He also cast doubt on whether NATO allies would rush to America’s defence in a real crisis, despite Washington’s continued commitment to the alliance over the years.
Trump credited his leadership with rebuilding the US military during his first term and sustaining its dominance, describing it as the main reason America’s adversaries tread carefully.
According to him, US military superiority has played a major role in keeping global instability in check and saving lives worldwide.
The president further claimed his administration forced NATO members to increase defence spending, accusing several allies of previously failing to meet their financial obligations while depending heavily on the United States.
He added that his approach helped prevent further escalation in Eastern Europe and contributed to resolving multiple international conflicts.
Trump concluded by asserting that the United States remains the only country that commands genuine fear and respect from both Russia and China, a status he attributed to his administration’s defence, diplomacy and leadership style.
He wrote partly, “The only Nation that China and Russia fear and respect is the DJT REBUILT U.S.A. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!! President DJT.”
