Sir Mascot Uzor Kalu, APC chieftain and Abia 2027 governorship aspirant, has issued a strong warning to the ruling party, insisting that only unity, fairness and internal democracy can keep the APC in power.

Throwing his weight behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Kalu said the party must close ranks and eliminate internal divisions that threaten its stability, stressing that disunity remains the biggest danger facing the APC.

He urged party leaders to stop playing favourites and start listening to members, warning that intimidation and exclusion will only weaken the party from within.

According to him, a strong APC must be built on justice, inclusion and mutual respect.

Kalu insisted that loyalty must work both ways, declaring that the party has a duty to protect its members just as members defend the party.

He warned that without fairness and sincerity, loyalty becomes empty and fragile.

Commending President Tinubu, Kalu praised his audacious reforms and decisive leadership, describing the president as focused on repositioning Nigeria for growth and stability despite tough challenges.

He cautioned that internal distractions could derail good governance, stressing that the APC must rally fully behind the president rather than undermine itself with infighting.

Kalu ended with a rallying cry, urging APC members to return to the party’s founding ideals of unity, fairness and collective responsibility, declaring that only a united APC can continue to command the trust of Nigerians.
