The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Working Committee has expressed confidence that its ongoing digital membership registration exercise will surpass 9 million registered members within the first two weeks.
Speaking on behalf of National Chairman Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda during a press briefing on Monday, National Secretary Senator Ajibola Basiru revealed that over 2 million Nigerians had already completed registration in just the first week.
Basiru emphasized the critical role of accurate data in enhancing the party’s operational efficiency: “We are happy to inform Nigerians that just a week into the exercise, those who have registered as members of the APC are already over 2 million.
“We envisage that by the time we make another assessment next week, we should have 8-9 million registered members.
“Any state that is found lagging, the National Working Committee has been given the latitude to change the coordinator of such state.”
