A 37-year-old man, whose identity is yet to be known, has been rescued from a well in Saki, Oyo State.

The man was rescued alive from the well in the Oke-Sebe area of Saki. The incident occurred on Saturday morning.

It was learnt that the man was given proper medical attention immediately after he was rescued by men of the Oyo State Fire Service.

The Chairman of the Oyo State Fire Service, Hon. Maroof Akinwande, confirmed the incident. He added that the man was rescued alive by his men.

Upon arrival at 9:29 a.m., the officers quickly swung into action with the necessary rescue equipment and successfully removed the man from the well,” he said.

#Muktv also gathered that a residential building in Ogbomoso was ravaged by fire on Saturday.

The incident occurred at Main Spring Hospital Street, High School area, Ogbomoso. Our correspondent gathered that properties worth millions of naira were affected during the inferno.

Akinwande also confirmed the incident, adding that no life was lost.

He said, “Upon arrival, we met one room out of four bedrooms engulfed by fire. We quickly swung into action and within a few minutes extinguished the fire and prevented it from spreading to the entire building.
