An Anambra-based prophet has dropped a serious political warning to every politician nursing presidential ambition, declaring that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027 is already sealed, not at the polls, but in the spiritual realm.
Prophet Dr. Ramas Okoye Asuzu made the proclamation on Sunday while briefing journalists at his residence in Nri community, Aniocha Local Government Area of Anambra State, urging all presidential aspirants seeking to unseat Tinubu to suspend their ambitions.
The cleric’s revelation followed the recent endorsement of the President by South-East APC governors and prominent Igbo stakeholders during the “Izu Umunna” stakeholders’ meeting held in Enugu State.
At the gathering, Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, alongside Enugu and Ebonyi governors, Peter Mbah and Francis Nwifuru, led party leaders, lawmakers and elders of the zone to openly back Tinubu for a second term. The leaders vowed to mobilise bloc votes for the President in 2027, describing the move as pragmatic, interest-driven politics.
They also warned against what they described as the balkanisation of South-East votes by personal ambitions, insisting such divisions had weakened the region’s bargaining power at the national level in the past.
Reacting to the endorsement, Asuzu, who is also the Supreme Head of the Liberation Temple of Absolute God Nri, appealed directly to Peter Obi, Atiku Abubakar and other aspirants, insisting the 2027 contest has already been settled spiritually.
According to him, President Tinubu has already been declared the winner of the election in the spiritual world.
He said, “I advise those contesting against him to suspend their ambitions for 2031.
“His victory was revealed to me by the gods of the land after a tense consultation ahead of the 2027 general election.. It was also revealed to me as the custodian of the gods that my brothers, Peter Obi and the current Minister of Works, Senator Dave Umahi’s aspirations of becoming Nigerian President would only be actualised in 2031.
“My prediction as a prophet with over 35 years in worship is for the good and continued unity and togetherness of Nigeria.
“I am not saying this to gain monetary or political relevance, I am saying this to let Nigerians know who will be their next President come 2027.
“Tinubu will be declared the winner of the election, and besides the victory, he has done tremendously well in all sectors of the economy.
“His current administration has provided Ndigbo a sense of belonging platform at the centre, the creation of the South-East Development Commission and other humanitarian benefits the region is gaining.”
The prophet urged Ndigbo to back the President with sustained prayers to enable him to fully actualise his vision for Nigeria.
He also called on Tinubu to begin his second-term agenda with the introduction of life imprisonment for corrupt politicians, describing it as a decisive step toward cleansing the nation’s political system.
