Nollywood actress and Filmmaker, Funke Akindele, has taken to social media to express her opinions on the marketing strategy for her movies.
The actress, known for her dancing and comedic marketing strategy of her movies, currently holds title of the highest-grossing Nollywood filmmaker.
In a series of posts shared by the actress on Saturday on her Instagram story, the actress stated that she is not the one hindering anybody’s progress and it only makes sense if all of them succeed together.
She said, “I’m not the one hindering your progress. Ka rin ka po, yiye nin ye ni”
She said “If you can’t beat them or join them, create your own path. No allow jealousy burn you. The sky is so big for everybody to fly. Eyin Werey jojo!!!”
She urged her other colleagues to go ahead and create alternative promotion strategies to market their films.
