A shocking story of greed and violence has played out in Edo State as a notorious kidnapper has been arrested after a retribution encounter at Edo State Teaching Hospital.
Dr. Abu Babatunde and his brother were abducted by the gang, which demanded millions of naira as ransom.
Despite the full payment, the kidnappers killed the doctor’s brother and released Dr. Babatunde, leaving the family in mourning.
The drama escalated when the suspect brought his sick son to the very hospital where Dr. Babatunde works, only to come face-to-face with the doctor he had kidnapped and whose brother he had murdered.
Police swiftly acted, arresting the kidnapper along with one of his co-workers, ending a tense chapter of terror for the victims’ family.
