Prophet Joshua Iginla has sent a warning to Abia State Governor Alex Otti, telling him to beware of betrayal lurking within his own team.
In a prophetic message, Iginla told Otti to “watch his back,” citing biblical traitors Ahitophel, who betrayed King David, and Judas, who betrayed Jesus.
The prophet stressed that Otti must prioritise his re-election, advising him to “appear powerless and win your second term.”
“For me this is: Go back to those who help you to win, I mean those you called for assistance in the last election, sanction your media to stop criticizing them and inciting the public against them. Be humble i.e., to appear powerless and win your second term,” Iginla added.
The warning comes as whispers of internal sabotage rock Otti’s administration, sparking a buzz across Abia’s political circles.
“There are people around Otti who might be secretly working against him, and he needs to be cautious of their ‘counsel,’ which is true. I’m urging Otti to prioritize his re-election by making more friends, not enemies, and not get distracted,” the prophet said.
“Be careful, you’re surrounded by people who might look wise but aren’t really looking out for you,” he warned.
