Terror struck in the dead of night as armed gunmen stormed a Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) in Uso, Owo LGA of Ondo State, abducting six helpless worshippers during an early-morning service.
The brazen attack sent panic through the quiet community, with terrified members scrambling for safety as the assailants whisked away their victims to an unknown destination.
The horrific incident comes barely four days after another abduction rocked the state, where a couple was kidnapped at Ilu-Abo community in Akure North LGA.
With gunmen attacks on the rise since the start of the year, fear is tightening its grip on Ondo communities, as residents demand urgent action to halt the growing wave of insecurity.
