Fresh drama is coming out from Cross River State as Glory Agbor, wife of suspended lawmaker Dickson Agbor, publicly denied reports that her husband assaulted her.

Dickson Agbor, who represents Obubra I State Constituency in the Cross River State House of Assembly, was recently placed on indefinite suspension after a viral video showed Glory with visible injuries, allegedly from a domestic dispute.

The footage generated widespread outrage online and triggered disciplinary action from the state legislature over what it described as violent conduct.

But in a new video circulating on social media, Glory dismissed the allegation outright, insisting that the viral clip is false and may have been fabricated.

According to her, the video could have been manipulated using artificial intelligence as part of a smear campaign to damage her husband politically.

“I am out here to tell Nigerians and all persons both home and abroad that what has been online for the past four to three days is a false accusation and nothing of such actually happened,” she said.

“Maybe it is AI, or they want to use that to blackmail me and my husband. You know the election is around the corner, and maybe they want to use that one to bring him down. Nothing of the sort happened to me.

“Look at me, I am okay, I am good. Did you see any mark on my face or anything of such? Nothing of such ever happened.”
