Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior says Enzo Fernández has made it “really, really clear” he is happy at the club after a private conversation addressing the midfielder’s recent comments about his future.
Rosenior revealed he sat down with the Argentina international at the training ground to discuss remarks Fernández made in the aftermath of Chelsea’s Champions League exit, when the player admitted he was unsure where he would be next season. “I had a great conversation with Enzo,” Rosenior said, adding that the talk covered both the player’s quotes and his feelings during a difficult period for the team.

The coach stressed that Fernández, one of the club’s captains, reaffirmed his commitment and underlined how much he wants to win with Chelsea, insisting his earlier remarks had been misconstrued in the heat of the moment and through translation. Rosenior concluded that the midfielder is “fully committed” to the project and to helping the club bounce back over the remainder of the season.
