U.S. President Donald Trump has said the ongoing war with Iran should end within days rather than weeks, warning that if negotiations fail, he would “blow up the whole country,” adding that “very little” remains off the table.

Trump made the remarks during a press conference at the White House on Sunday, calling for a swift resolution to the escalating conflict between Washington and Tehran. He expressed frustration over the prolonged hostilities and emphasized that the U.S. military was “fully prepared” to act decisively if Iran refused to comply with peace terms.

The president’s comments come amid international appeals for restraint as civilian casualties and regional instability continue to mount. Analysts say Trump’s uncompromising tone could either pressure Iran into a diplomatic concession or further inflame tensions across the Middle East.

While the State Department has yet to outline the specifics of any potential deal, senior officials confirmed that back-channel talks are ongoing. Iranian leaders have dismissed Trump’s threats as “psychological warfare,” vowing to defend their sovereignty “with full force” if attacked.
Observers warn that without immediate diplomatic progress, the situation could spiral into a broader regional conflict drawing in U.S. allies and adversaries alike.
