Amidst a whirlwind of emotions, Ada Eme, the Abiriba, Abia State-born beauty queen, returned to Nigeria to a warm reception following her journey at the 71st Miss World pageant in India.

Representing Nigeria on the global stage, Eme had aspirations of clinching the coveted Miss World title, but her dreams were cut short as she exited the competition after failing to secure a spot among the top 12 contestants.

Despite the setback, Eme remained resolute, reflecting on her journey and finding solace in her heart.

She emphasized that the pageant was not a matter of life or death for her but rather a fulfillment of a lifelong dream.

Recalling her final moments on the Miss World stage, Eme revealed, “It was a mix of emotions as I realized I wouldn’t be crowned Miss World. However, I felt a sense of peace within me.”

As she returned to Nigeria, Eme embraced the love and support of her community, with her hometown of Abiriba welcoming her back with jubilation and fanfare.

Taking to social media, she expressed her gratitude, marveling at the overwhelming support she received.

With the Miss World chapter closed, Eme looks forward to the future, focusing on her event management company and her beauty with a purpose project aimed at tackling schistosomiasis.

Despite not clinching the Miss World title, Eme’s impact on the global stage has left an indelible mark, and her journey is far from over as she embarks on a new phase in her career.
