Before his departure, photos of Orji at the airport surfaced on Friday, signaling his trip abroad for medical evaluation.
Emeka Rollas, President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, confirmed in an interview that Orji’s surgeries were successful but necessitated further assessment overseas.
Rumors circulated on social media earlier in the week falsely claiming the actor’s demise. Rollas swiftly debunked the false information, assuring the public of Orji’s well-being.
Orji was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the National Hospital in Abuja on New Year’s Eve, marking the beginning of his medical journey.
