The Kaduna State House of Assembly took a decisive step on Tuesday by establishing a 13-man ad hoc committee tasked with probing the financial dealings, loans, grants, and project implementations during Malam Nasir El-rufai’s term as governor.
Hon. Yusuf Mugu, representing Kaura constituency, initiated a motion on a matter of public importance, calling for a thorough investigation into the loans taken out by the former governor.
Leadership reports that the Speaker of the House, Hon. Yusuf Dahiru Liman, who chaired the session, directed the ad hoc committee to summon all pertinent stakeholders for questioning to scrutinize the financial activities under review.
