In a disturbing incident in Dong, Jos North local government area of Plateau State, a police inspector allegedly cut off his pregnant wife’s hand during a dispute over N20,000.
According to reports, the inspector left the money at home and, upon returning to retrieve it, a heated argument ensued, leading to the violent act.
Confirming the incident, Alabi stated, “We are aware of the incident, the man is an Inspector. Right now, he is at the State CID and the investigation is ongoing.”
The altercation reportedly escalated when the wife refused to give the man N3,000 from the sum.
The victim, in critical condition, was swiftly taken to a hospital for urgent medical attention, while the investigation continues.
