Non-conformist entertainer Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has called on controversial pastor Chukwuemeka Cyril Ohanaemere, also known as Odumeje, to use his powers to save Nigeria from its current economic crisis, instead of attacking Aliko Dangote.

MUK TV had reported how Odumeje attributed the inferno at Dangote refinery on how the owner and Africa’s richest man refused to humble himself and come to him for spiritual help.

Expressing his concerns about the country’s plummeting economy and widespread hunger, Charly Boy posted on X, “Dear Odumeje, We Nigerians have humbly come to you – please can you stop the nation from burning, fire is catching, the economy is plummeting.

“We ask for your power in this desperate time of need. Abeg no mind Dangote, he get plenty money oo, this hunger no dey reach him side that’s why E no understand say E go humble before the Indabosky #Naijamatter.”

This plea comes as President Bola Tinubu has rolled out measures to tackle food insecurity in the country. According to the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Abubakar Kyari, the Federal Government will implement a 150-Day Duty-Free Import Window for food commodities. During this period, the government will relax taxes and import duties on wheat, maize, husked brown rice, and cowpeas.
