Stanley Iheanacho, the former striker for the Golden Eaglets, has officially signed a contract to join Clube Deportivo de Mafra of Liga Portugal 2.
Iheanacho teamed up with FC Midtylland, a Danish Superliga team, and CD Mafra.
With his new club, the 19-year-old signed a five-year contract that runs through June 2029.
In September 2023, the young player made his FC Midtylland debut against Aabenraa BK in a Cup match, scoring four goals.
Iheanacho, though, was unable to play for the numerous Superliga winners in the league.
The forward was a major contributor to Midtylland’s U-19 youth league championship team from the previous year.
Along with making 22 appearances and scoring 12 goals, he participated in four UEFA Youth League games.
