The EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protesters in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, have shifted their demonstration from the Moshood Abiola Stadium to the Berger Roundabout.

On Wednesday, an FCT High Court ordered the protesters to limit their demonstrations to the stadium.

Initially, they complied and gathered at the stadium on Thursday but resisted pressure from security operatives to remain inside the stadium.

After reports surfaced of other protesters being harassed by security operatives at Eagles Square, the group decided to leave the stadium and march to Berger Roundabout.

Policemen guarding the stadium used tear gas on the protesters as they departed.

Our correspondent, who arrived at the stadium at 7 am on Friday, did not see any protesters.

It was later learned that the protesters had moved to the Berger Roundabout.

As of the time of filing this report, the protesters were assembling at their new location.
