In Alausa, Lagos State, protesters were reportedly injured after being driven off the streets by thugs.
MUK TV reports that the demonstration, which the state government had confined to Gani Fawehinmi Park in Ojota through a court order, was forced to relocate.
Around midday, hoodlums armed with sticks, machetes, and other weapons attacked the protesters.
Fleeing in all directions, the protesters found no assistance from on-ground security operatives, who reportedly looked away, suggesting possible state backing for the attackers.
This incident occurred just 24 hours after a similar attack at Freedom Park.
