The enviable and lofty managerial career of the Edo State Commissioner of Finance, Mrs. Adaze Aguele Kalu, wife of former governorship candidate of the Action Peoples Party (APP) in Abia State, Sir Mascot Uzor Kalu, took another upward trajectory as she was elevated to the Distinguished Grade of Fellow, Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered).

MUK TV reports that at a conferrement ceremony held on Thursday in Muson Centre, Onikan, Lagos, Mrs. Kalu was officially admitted to the grade of Fellow of NIM in accordance with the bye-laws of the institute, granting her the prestigious FNIM designation.

This honour is awarded to members who have significantly contributed to the development of the institute, the management profession, and the broader civil society.

As a seasoned Accountant, Mrs. Kalu’s impressive career spans over a decade, with key roles at the Federal Housing Authority (FHA) and the Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) as a Special Consultant, before her current position in the Edo State Government.

In recognition of her corporate achievement, BusinessDay Newspaper has also listed her among the 100 most influential women in Nigeria.
