Nigerian Artist Ojuju singer Oxlade, reveals his struggles as a Lasu student in Nigeria.
He said in a recent interview when asked about his educational background he said
I didn’t just like school man’
“I dropped out in my final year in University… There were some gangs coming for me because I was a ‘fine boy’…you know a fine boy is a material so it’s either you join them or they off you… so I had to just leave school man!!!
He also said he hasn’t spoken about this anywhere before and this is his first time of saying such to the public!

Go and read about LASU” he said but I think now they are more focused on Academics because they now see how fickle life is and everyone is looking for money but at that time I studied it was a hot period!!
So after I left school I ran away from home because my people won’t accept that, so I went into the streets!!
Because it felt like I let every one down , I let my grandma down but the funniest thing was that when she saw me she was very cool and all those pressure I put on myself was not necessary he concluded!
