Former President Donald Trump has claimed that Israel could face extinction within two years if Vice President Kamala Harris wins the upcoming U.S. presidential election.

Trump also suggested that Jewish-American voters might share responsibility for this outcome if they support the Democratic candidate.

Expressing concerns about his polling numbers among Jewish voters, Trump lamented his current standing compared to Harris, as reported by Reuters.

He warned that the survival of Israel could be at stake if he loses the election.

Speaking to his supporters, Trump stated, “If I don’t win this election, the Jewish community will play a significant role in that. If 40% or even 60% of people are voting for the enemy, Israel, in my opinion, will cease to exist within two years.”

He pointed to a poll showing Harris with 60% support among American Jews, though he did not specify the source.

A recent Pew Research survey, however, indicated that Harris holds a significant lead, with 65% of Jewish voters favoring her over Trump, who garnered 34%.

Trump also expressed disappointment over his performance among Jewish voters in the 2016 and 2020 elections, where he won less than 30% of their vote.

Earlier, Trump echoed similar remarks at a summit in Washington focused on combating antisemitism in the U.S., a key issue for his campaign as it seeks to sway Jewish voters in battleground states.

Pennsylvania, for instance, has over 400,000 Jewish residents, and Biden won the state by a narrow margin of just 81,000 votes in 2020.

Responding to Trump’s comments, Morgan Finkelstein, a spokesperson for the Harris campaign, criticized his past associations with individuals accused of antisemitism.

Trump, however, has consistently denied such allegations, often citing his Jewish son-in-law during his speeches.
