Crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has denied allegations that he paid the Falana family to secure a presidential pardon during his imprisonment for Naira abuse. He addressed the claims on his Instagram stories, hours after the Falanas demanded a public apology within 12 hours for accusations made in a viral audio clip released by VeryDarkMan (VDM) last month.

VDM had shared two audio recordings, allegedly featuring Bobrisky speaking to another man. In one recording, the individual claimed to have approached Falz to ask for his help in convincing his father, Femi Falana (SAN), to secure a presidential pardon in exchange for N10 million. Additionally, the person claimed to have requested N3 million from Falz to ensure favorable treatment at Kirikiri Correctional Centre.

In another clip shared by VDM, the person purported to be Bobrisky claimed to have paid N5 million upfront to a Senior Advocate of Nigeria to obtain a Federal Government pardon for charges brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

In response, Bobrisky firmly denied being the person in the audio clips, stating on Instagram that his lawyer would issue a formal statement refuting the claims. He maintained that the allegations are false and that he was not involved in the alleged conversations.
