Outspoken socio-political activist, Aisha Yesufu, has taken a swipe at the FCT Minister and former Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike, branding him a “village champion.”
Yesufu criticized Wike for allegedly confusing the dynamics of Abuja with Port Harcourt, where his influence once loomed large.
“You think Abuja is Port Harcourt where people tremble at the mention of your name,” she said.
This backlash comes amid growing criticism of Wike’s demolition of the Ruga community in the Federal Capital Territory.
Socio-political commentator Martins Ortse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, had earlier condemned Wike’s actions.
Defending his decision, Wike insisted the demolition was necessary to sanitize and secure the FCT.
