The heavy downpour in Lagos on Saturday has led to the death of two children, Gbolahan and Olayinka Atolagbe, who were killed when a fence of a neighbouring building collapsed on their house in the Ikorodu area of the state.
According to the Punch, the incident occurred during a downpour on Saturday on Alao Street, Isawo, in the Ikorodu Local Government Area of the state.
The bodies of the two children were recovered after hours of being trapped in the rubbles amidst rescue efforts by residents.
The spokesman for the National Emergency Management Agency, South-West, Mr. Ibrahim Farinloye, has also confirmed the incident.
