Senate President Godswill Akpabio has commended President Bola Tinubu’s administration for its dedication to infrastructural development, likening Abuja and other Nigerian cities to London.
Speaking during the presentation of the 2025 budget proposal by President Tinubu on Wednesday, Akpabio highlighted the transformative impact of the administration’s initiatives.
“Notably, your infrastructural renaissance has paved the way, including the Coastal Road— a crucial axis in Abuja capital city. Imagine Abuja now looking almost like London and other parts of our country,” Akpabio said.
The Senate President also praised the economic reforms spearheaded by Tinubu, noting that they have begun to deliver tangible benefits. He described the administration’s efforts to address security challenges as “commendable.”
Akpabio further highlighted the positive outcomes of Nigeria’s bilateral relationships with foreign nations under Tinubu’s leadership.
“Nigerians could now travel abroad with ease as many countries now respect Nigerian nationals,” he said.
