Peter Nwachukwu, the husband of late gospel music star Osinachi Nwachukwu, has been sentenced to death by hanging by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court sitting in Wuse Zone 2, Abuja.
Justice Njideka Nwosu-Iheme delivered the ruling on Monday, following the dismissal of Nwachukwu’s no-case submission.
The court found him guilty of culpable homicide over the death of his wife, the singer of the gospel hit track ‘ekwueme,’ which occurred on April 8, 2022.
