Annie Macaulay has revealed plans to launch her own online TV station, Annie Macaulay TV, as she moves forward after her separation from Nigerian music legend, Innocent “2Baba” Idibia.
Speaking during an interview with BBC News Pidgin at the 17th Headies Awards on April 28, 2025, Annie shared that the project is already underway, with a new series set to air soon.
Right now I’m working on my own TV station, my own online TV, Annie Macaulay TV. I want everyone to be ready for different things. We’ve already done a series which will soon air on Annie Macaulay TV, very soon,” she said.
When asked about her personal life, Annie expressed appreciation for her family’s support during this transitional period, adding, “My children dey kampe, my family dey kampe. My first daughter is abroad studying, don’t play with her o, don’t play with my kids, they are my backbone.”
Annie also captured attention at the event with a public shoutout to fellow single women, a moment that quickly went viral online.
2Baba has been making headlines for reconciling with his mother, Rose Idibia, after a period of reported family tension. Both Annie and 2Baba appear to be embarking on fresh starts in their personal and professional lives.
