Nigerian President Bola Tinubu visited the Vatican for inaugural Mass of Pope Leo XIV. over the weekend.
According to the presidential spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, the president was hosted by Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican’s Secretary of State upon his arrival at the Vatican.
To buttress his point Bayo Onanuga shared some photos of the president with the ‘Cardinal’.
Twitter users have openly criticized and countered the presidency with the original pictures of Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican’s Secretary of State.
While many made a mockery of the presidency saying their version of Cardinal Pietro Parolin was ordered.
